with your images: how to convert eBook

Many eBook that we find online, especially free ones, are in PDF or ePub. The Kindle is compatible with the PDF format, although it is not very practical read it because the text does not scroll, but it is converted to inviandoselo compatible with Amazon's free service for converting email to @free.kindle.com {username}.
To File Formats ePUB, however, and other formats such as PML or LIT is not available on Amazon's free conversion service, so we have to convert it ourselves. Nothing could be easier: You can do it easily with Calibre .

First, of course, do Download Calibre and install it.
Installation is simple and is also available in Italian. Just pay attention to two things: first of all, when the installation asks for it, select the Kindle as a reading device, then create a folder if Calibre "Libreeria Calibre" (note the error of the two "ee" in the name of the folder) into / Users / {user} / which will copy your eBooks, and those inserted those who converted (you can correct the error or leave it as it is).
First step: add the eBook in its original format .
Click on the "Add books" from the top menu and select Calibre the eBook in its original format. In this way, the eBook is placed in the Library and Calibre is copied to the "Libreeria of Calibre."
eBook formats can be included are: CBZ, CBR, CBC, EPUB, FB2, HTML, LIT, LRF, MOBI, ODT, PDF, PRC, PDB, PML, RB, RTF, TCR, TXT.
Second step: convert the eBook .
Select the book you just added and click on "Convert books" from the top menu of Calibre.
opens a window with a menu of icons on the left that open their cards right. The first thing to watch out for is to verify that in the top right of this window appears MOBI format as the format oputput, that is the format compatible with the Kindle.
The first tab that pops up is that of metadata, that is, cover, title and author of the book, and we can modify this information if they are not accurate. E 'can also upload a separate cover from an image file if the file is not already included.
There are few settings to make:
- click on "View" select "Remove the spaces between paragraphs", otherwise the converted file may have a blank space between paragraphs.
- clicking on the "Table of Contents" select "Do not add the overview chapters autodetected.
- clicking on the "Output MOBI" select "Do not add a table of contents (index) to the book."
Finally click "OK" at the bottom right.
few moments later, when the indicator wheel stops, just go to the folder "Libreeria Calibre" to find the file converted to MOBI. Simply plug in your Kindle and copy this file in the folder "documents" of the Kindle for the eBooks on the Kindle.
In this way you can read all the eBooks on the Kindle in circulation on the web, from all the free ones, such as the library googlebooks.
