in Kindle, you can insert and view images, with zoom and scroll functions, thanks to a function to display images that are not documented in the manual.
First connect the Kindle to the PC with the USB cable. Then, create a folder in the Kindle "pictures" in the root directory.
Inside this folder, create another folder, you can call whatever you want, such as "Photo", or "MyPictures" ... as you like. Inside this folder you can copy photos and images you want to have on the Kindle.
Keep in mind that the Kindle has a screen 800 × 600 to 16 shades of gray, so even if you can display color images (of course seeing them in gray) and largest, is a useless occupation of space in your Kindle. So before you do the transfer, make a copy in 800 × 600 to 16 shades of gray.
Make "Eject" the Kindle on the "My Computer" and disconnect the USB cable (unless you want to take this opportunity to recharge).

Go Home.
Press Alt + Z to refresh the content. Whenever you insert or remove the images you need to do Alt + Z in Home to update the index.
You'll see an item that you call as you have created inside the folder called "pictures" such as "Photo", or "MyPictures.
Select this and click the cursor 5-ways.
will see the first image in the folder and you can move between the images using "Next page" and "Prev Page" as if the pictures were the pages of a book.
