L ' Amazon Kindle or Kindle is an eBook reader sold by Amazon.com. Initially for the U.S. market, has since been launched worldwide in October 2009, but only in the English version.
Description and operation
Kindle (from the English verb = to kindle a fire) is an eBook reader that allows you to connect to the Internet for downloading content (digital books, newspapers and magazines). It is sold over the Internet from the U.S. Amazon site. The software is owner, runs on Linux kernel and is protected by a DRM system.

The device measures 19.1 × 13.5 cm with a thickness of 1.8 cm and weighs 292 grams. It features a monochrome screen of 6 inches (15 cm) diagonal with the definition of 600 × 800 pixels and a resolution of 167 dots per inch.
